Dr Louise Merriman MBBS BSc MRCGP DRCOG Trained at the Middlesex Hospital in London and qualified in 1987 I spent 6 years working as a medical officer in the RAF, worked as a GP in Rotherham and also worked in the day unit at Ashgate hospice in Chesterfield. I have a special interest in Cancer and Palliative Care and I am the GP clinical lead for cancer for Derbyshire and also for the South Yorkshire Cancer Alliance. I have worked in Clowne since the inception of the practice in April 2000. My interests outside of work include cooking, cycling and walking my 2 miniature schnauzers! |
Dr Naveen Hosangadi-Jayadev

MBBS (1999 India), MS (Ortho), DRCOG, DFSRH, MRCGP, PGCME, Dip Sports Medicine (International Olympic Committee). He qualified as a GP from Chesterfield GP scheme in 2013 and joined the practice in January 2014. He works at the Springs Health centre four days a week (except Monday's). He has completed the International Olympic Committee course for Sports Physicians and was awarded a diploma in 2017. He works as a locum Sports Physician at a rehabilitation unit at RAF Cranwell on Monday’s. He is a GMC approved GP trainer and he supervise GP trainees at the Springs Health Centre. Areas of interest: Musculoskeletal Medicine, Minor surgery, contraceptive implants and Medical education. |

Dr Abigail Lucking. Trained at Sheffield Medical School and qualified in 2008. I joined the practice in May 2020. I am an approved GP trainer and helps supervise trainee GPs. I have a special interest in women's health and family planning, and am trained in fitting coils and implants. Dr Lucking is married with 3 children and also keeps chickens, and enjoys baking. |

Dr. Rachna Joshi BMBS MRCGP Originally from Leicester, I trained for 6 years in Devon before returning to the Midlands for 5 years to work in general practice and hospitals in Nottinghamshire. I joined the team at Springs Health Centre in February 2021 and have an interest in mental health and wellbeing. Outside of work I enjoy swimming, knitting and spending time with family and friends.
